Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Voltares (“we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through www.voltares.site and, once available, the Voltares web application. Questions: salam@voltares.site.

What we collect

• Website forms: name, business email, company, company size, use case and message you submit through the early-access or contact forms.
• Product data (when the application launches): account details, site names and locations, meter readings, token purchases, fuel receipts and images, generator runtime and approval history entered by your team.
• Technical data: standard server logs from our hosting provider (IP address, browser, pages requested). The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To reply to enquiries and manage early-access requests.
• To provide the Voltares service: calculating energy costs, reading receipts, flagging anomalies and producing forecasts for your account.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell personal data. Customer data is not used to train AI models for other customers.

Third parties

We use service providers to run Voltares: a website hosting provider, a form-handling or email provider for enquiries, and Amazon Web Services for application hosting, storage and AI processing. They process data only on our instructions.

Retention

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless you become a customer. Account data is kept while your subscription is active and deleted within 90 days of closure unless the law requires longer retention.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by emailing salam@voltares.site. You may also contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
